I am a medical cannabis patient in the state of Georgia. I provide information about cannabis for medical patients in the state of Georgia.
I can’t speak to the legality outside of Georgia.
Sources of information
Almost everything I write about cannabis is something I’ve learned from others online. Very little of my information is from first principles or new.
I just wrote it up for myself.
I spent a long time filtering through AI slop, flat out wrong information and multiple subreddits to get to what little I know today.
The following is just a short list of the resources I used to get here
Emily Kyle
Emily Kyle’s blog was the single greatest source of information I used. Her posts are straightforward, instructive an don’t immediately tell you that you need to go buy some fancy bit of equipment. Yes, she is sponsored by companies and mentions them but she doesn’t require them for her tutorials and recipes.
If you only used one website to start learning, this would be the one.
Calc420
Calc420 was started by a redditor and is one of the best potency calculators out there.
Ichiban Crafters
This is more of a scientific site but I always found myself cross-referencing something I found back here.
Grasscity Forums
This is an OLD site but when I was drowning in AI slop and content farming generated posts, finding this forum was super helpful. There are literal decades of posts here with useful information that’s still valid today.
Various subreddits
When I got started, my goal was to make edibles for myself that I knew exactly what was in them and I could control the dosage. For all it’s warts, Reddit’s r/edibles was super helpful.
When I needed to understand my options for dry herb vaping, r/vaporents has good support.
However, the most helpful community for me has been r/hempflowers. This was where I finally understood how to legally purchase the raw materials I needed to be mostly self-sufficient with my medicine.
